Lavender Manor guest house Hermanus
..on a road trip to Hermanus! Take a walk along the coastal path from the town centre to Grotto beach and whale watch along the way. Take a 20 min drive from Hermanus to Stanford to visit the Stanford brewery. Great views and local beer - I can still taste the honey blonde beer! ..a wine estate/restaurant called La Vierge. Wow. It's located on the Hemel-en-aarde valley wine route. Leave Hermanus, head towards Cape Town and take the Caledon turn off to the right. This little gem is WORTH the detour. Dine in style as you look out over the vineyards. ..at the four star Lavender Manor guest house near Grotto beach. The guest house is just outside the main town - need to drive to get into the centre. Located close to sandy beach and coastal walks. Friendly owners.
